A portable hand-washing station needs no hookup. It carries its own fresh-water tank and a separate gray-water tank. Guests pump water with a foot pedal, so the station can stand anywhere on level ground.
Is it cheaper to get a sink inside the porta potty?
A porta potty with a built-in sink usually costs less than a standard unit plus a separate station, because it is one unit on one delivery. A separate station is better for food lines, because people who never use the toilet can still wash.
How long does the water last?
A two-basin station holds enough water for about 300 to 400 hand washes, which covers most one-day events. Busy food areas or multi-day festivals need a refill visit. We schedule it with your service.
Can hand-washing stations be used in winter?
Hand-washing stations freeze below about 32°F. From late November through February, we recommend hand sanitizer instead for outdoor job sites. Indoor or heated placement is another option. Ask about winter options for your site.
