What sets the price of a porta potty rental?
Five things set the price of a porta potty rental: the delivery location, the unit type, the dates, the cleaning schedule and the number of units. Distance from Grand Island adds a one-time trip charge. Flushing units and trailers cost more. Same-day dates add a rush fee. Extra cleaning visits and more units add to the total.
- Location: inside Grand Island, delivery is included. Kearney, York and other towns add a one-time trip charge.
- Unit type: standard, sink, flushing, ADA or trailer.
- Dates: same-day orders add a rush fee. Holiday weekends book out early.
- Cleaning: weekly is included on long rentals. Extra visits cost more.
- Quantity: four or more units on one trip lowers the per-unit trip cost.
What does an itemized porta potty quote include?
An itemized porta potty quote lists the unit rental, delivery and pickup, cleaning, any rush fee and sales tax, each as its own line. You see the total before you confirm. Our quotes never add a removal fee, fuel surcharge or card fee after the job.

What do real rentals cost? Three examples
Three common rentals show how the lines add up. Each example uses the middle of our 2026 ranges and is labeled hypothetical. A backyard graduation party, a 4-month home build and a barn wedding cover most of what people rent around Grand Island.
Grad party, 120 guests, Grand Island
3 standard units + 1 hand-wash station, Friday drop, Monday pickup. 3 × $175 + $115 = $640 plus tax. Delivery included. Hypothetical example.
Home build, 6 workers, Doniphan
1 standard unit for 4 cycles (about 16 weeks). 4 × $185 + one $45 trip charge = $785 plus tax. Weekly cleaning included. Hypothetical example.
Barn wedding, 140 guests, Aurora
1 two-stall trailer at $1,300 + 1 ADA unit at $230 + one $60 trip charge = $1,590 plus tax. Hypothetical example.
How can I lower the cost?
The cheapest way to rent is to book early, choose a standard unit with a sink instead of a unit plus a separate station, and order everything on one trip. Avoid same-day rush fees by calling two business days ahead. For a short job, ask for the event package instead of a 28-day cycle.
Not sure how many units you need? Over-ordering is the most common way to overspend. Check the sizing calculator first, and compare units on the unit types page.
Pricing questions
Why isn't there a daily rate?
There is no daily rate because most of the cost is the truck trip to deliver, level and later remove the unit, plus the cleaning. Keeping the unit an extra day costs us almost nothing. That is why one price covers up to 5 days for events.
Is the 28-day price prorated if I finish early?
The 28-day cycle is not prorated. Ending on day 3 or day 28 costs the same cycle price. Billing stops at the end of the cycle in which you call for pickup, so call as soon as the job is done.
Is my second month cheaper than the first?
Inside Grand Island, every cycle costs the same because delivery is included. Outside the city, the first cycle carries the one-time trip charge, so later cycles cost less.
Do you charge for the pickup?
Pickup is included in every price. There is no separate removal fee added at the end, which some national booking lines charge.
Do I pay up front?
Event rentals are paid when you book, by card or check. Long-term rentals bill at the start of each 28-day cycle. Cancel 48 hours before delivery for a full refund.
Do nonprofits or churches get a discount?
Churches, schools and nonprofits booking 4 or more units get a written multi-unit quote they can take to their board. Ask about the multi-unit rate when you call.
